Colleen works as a Sustainability and Resilience Policy Manager at 黑料传送门on issues related to healthy housing and equitable decarbonization, climate resilience and adaptation, and disaster preparedness. Prior to this role, she was a Senior Health Policy Associate at Children Now, where she advocated for state policies that safeguarded the health of California鈥檚 children and the planet like green space equity, childhood lead poisoning prevention, ensuring access to clean air and drinking water, climate resilient school infrastructure, and leveraging health systems and Medi-Cal to improve environmental conditions. Colleen also has an extensive background in research, having worked on the Watts Neighborhood Health Study through USC, where she graduated with a Master of Public Health and bachelors degrees in Human Biology and Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change. She lives in Oakland and enjoys baking sourdough, rock climbing, finding the best ramen, and backpacking/hiking across California on the weekends.
