The Bay Lights

Young Urbanists

Created by internationally renowned artist Leo Villareal, The Bay Lights is an iconic civic art installation made up of more than 25,000 white LEDs mounted on the western span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. At close to 2 miles wide and 500 feet high, this continually changing fine arts experience will be the largest light sculpture in the world. Join Ben Davis, curator of the project, for a discussion of how The Bay Lights came to be and what will transpire once the power switch is flipped in early 2013. This event is generously sponsored by the Koret Foundation.

Unfortunately due to other circumstances there will not be a lighting test following this presentation. However, follow ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅon and to be one of the first to know about the first test.
