New residential development in San Francisco must meet the city’s inclusionary housing requirement to provide affordable housing. Developers can build these units within the new development, pay a fee or build them elsewhere. This last option is complicated to pull off and rarely chosen. Come hear from developers of off-site affordable housing and city representatives about what it takes to get these projects to work. Co-sponsored with the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition and the San Francisco AIA.
