Pulled from artist and illustrator Wendy MacNaughton's most recent book, Meanwhile in San Francisco: The City in Its Own Words, SPUR's latest exhibition features beautiful illustrations that form a collaborative narrative: the drawings are hers, but the words came from people living and working in San Francisco. To create each of these stories, Wendy spent anywhere from twenty-four hours to four weeks getting to know the place, the​ people and their histories through conversation and observation, all the while drawing everything she noticed.

Join us as we open our latest exhibition and take an illustrated glance into just a handful of San Francisco communities that can be witnessed in day to day life, on every steep street, behind every gated door and in every grassy park.

Refund Policy

Sponsorship payments will not be refunded, as sponsorship benefits take effect immediately and are on-going through the date of the event.

Individual ticket purchases If the refund is requested more than 2 business days and less than 10 business days prior to the event, a 25% refund can be issued upon request. Any requests for refunds received less than 2 days prior to an event cannot be accommodated.
