Sites Unseen: Public Art in Yerba Buena's Alleys

Sites Unseen, a forthcoming public art project in the Yerba Buena alleys, aims to enhance the local neighborhood’s reputation––and, by extension, that of the San Francisco Bay Area––as a thriving cultural destination for diverse audiences. Sites Unseen is an initiative of the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District (YBCBD), and will work with local community partners and cultural institutions to bring dynamic arts programming to seven underused alleys in the neighborhood in the form of permanent and temporary artworks, performances, screenings, and other happenings. The alleys will provide a platform for both local and national artists at all career stages to showcase work within a unified curatorial framework. Talk with the project team about how Sites Unseen will activate these neglected areas by fostering social interaction, community pride, and economic opportunities while increasing visitors’ safety and exposure to the arts.

Refund Policy

Sponsorship payments will not be refunded, as sponsorship benefits take effect immediately and are on-going through the date of the event.

Individual ticket purchases If the refund is requested more than 2 business days and less than 10 business days prior to the event, a 25% refund can be issued upon request. Any requests for refunds received less than 2 days prior to an event cannot be accommodated.

Thank you for your support of ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅand your understanding that costs accrue on a per-guest basis before an event takes place.

Auxiliary Services

If, in order to participate in a ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅevent, you need auxiliary aids or services for a disability (e.g., qualified interpreter, qualified reader, written materials, taped texts) please submit your request five business days before the event to [email protected] or 415-781-8726 x132. ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅwill work with you in identifying effective auxiliary aids or services that it can provide. If you need to cancel your request, please notify ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅat least two business days before the event.
