The third in a series of housing symposia, Domestic Affairs #3: HOUSING THE NEXT 100,000 brings together a diverse group of speakers to explore the potentials and challenges in shaping a city for the next 100,000. From linking bottom-up forces of change and top-down strategic planning, to the role of public institutions and private sector forces -- this event reflects on ways of addressing the scale of the housing crisis. Domestic Affairs is a design-research project undertaken by the Urban Works Agency at CCA that is examining new models of housing, density, and affordability in San Francisco through design.
