Stephen Schafer is an award-winning photographer who has built a long career specializing in photographing the United States' most important architectural structures. When not shooting for the Historic American Buildings Survey, the Historic American Engineering Record or the Historic American Landscapes Survey, however, he can be found documenting the exact opposite on .
